Branched – hank pipes weighbridge (specific to pipe-making industries)

Measuring the weight of manufactured products is very important in the polyethylene (PE) industries because the final weight will determine the amount of raw materials consumed for the product and consequently, the turning point in determining the cost. The measurement is important at the endpoint of the production lines, where the product is prepared to be supplied with the market. Polyethylene pipes are supplied with the market in two types of branched and hank and necessarily, there is a need to a proper weighing system to measure the final weight.

Tozin Sepahan’s engineering department has made the weighing comfortable for both types of applications by designing special platforms. Due to being installed in a proper height, the coil (hank) weighing systems can measure the hank weight with the accuracy of 100 grams and the branched weighing system, which can be displaced, can measure the product weight with the accuracy of 50 grams.
