Depending on the type of the usage, load cells have different mechanisms. Hence, the operating conditions of the load cell type determine its type. There are many things to consider that should be properly selected when designing a load cell (strain gauge, capsule, distance, dimensions, etc.).
The apparent shape of this load cell is similar to the cans. As is clear from the name of the load cell, the pressure exerted on this type of load cell by the load causes the load cell’s length changes (less than the diameter of a hair strand) in the load cell. The only model especially designed for measuring very heavy loads is pressure model load cell. This model has multiple uses and the forces exerted to the load cell are done only in a vertical direction. The pressure load cell is more common in shotgun (it is forbidden in road weighbridges) and barrel types. The load cell is actually a typical sensor that is used to evaluate and measure the weight or force.
